- You do not need a physician’s referral, as our services are not covered by the province’s Medical Services Plan (MSP). However, some extended benefit health plans may request a referral from a physician before they can reimburse you. Please check with your extended health plan to find out the coverage.

- What are your fees?
- Our rate is $240 per hour. For therapy and consultation, the session includes 50 minutes direct time with client and 10 minutes dedicated to documentation. For assessment, the fee and length is dependent on the complexity of the case. The payment is due at the end of each session. We accept E-transfer, cheque, or cash.

- Do you invoice directly to extended health providers?
- We do not directly bill extended health providers. Upon payment, we will provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your extended health plan for reimbursement. Please contact your health plan for information regarding coverage for services provided by registered psychologists.

- What is your policy for cancelling or rescheduling an appointment?
- Please let us know at least 48 hours ahead if you need to change or cancel a therapy or consultation appointment, and at least 72 hours ahead for an assessment appointment. If you miss an appointment with less notice, you will be charged the full rate for the time booked. If you are not able to give us advanced notice due to emergencies, we will consider these situations on a case-by-case basis.

- The length of psychotherapy varies for each person. Some people may find relief and reach their goals in just a few sessions while others with longstanding issues may take more than 24 sessions. We will work with you to set goals and check progress regularly. Everyone is different, so the length of the therapy is a collaborative decision.
